Update as of 12/8/23:

The Jester Club has entered an agreement with Tower Ventures to build a new stadium light on the back side of the basketball court. The light pole will hold a cell module for AT&T, and the ground equipment for the module will reside under the Austin Energy tower at the back of the parking lot.

The agreement is currently in the “option” period, which allows Tower Ventures access to the club property in order to survey the land, obtain necessary permits, and create a site and construction plan to submit for Jester Club board approval.

As we enter this phase of the project, the board is sorting through the summer 2023 member survey results, identifying most requested improvements to the club. Those improvements are currently being vetted for scope, feasibility, and budget to determine possible uses for the income from this project. We will continue to post updates as progress continues.
